MCG Cares Center for Early Care and Education

The MCG Cares Center for Early Care and Education provides top-quality early-childhood care in a safe, secure, loving environment for children who are 3 and 4 years old. Open Monday through Friday, 10 hours a day, the program is designed to meet the needs of working parents.

Our experienced, trained staff recognizes individual learning styles and optimizes child development, learning, problem-solving, and socialization skills through the Creative curriculum. The MCG Cares teaching staff is trained in First Aid and is CPR-certified.

The program provides free, nutritious meals and snacks.

MCG Cares works in collaboration with the Newark Board of Education and the Division of Family Development to offer care free-of-charge for preschool-aged children residing in Newark.
