Protective Services
These
specialized programs provide professional assessment, counseling and support
services to abused and neglected children and their families. Families
identified by DYFS are provided with assessments and evaluations, supportive
in-home or office counseling, coordinated case management, and professional
support services to improve parenting and manage inter-familial stress
with the goal of preventing further abuse and neglect.
